Agreement to these terms
These terms apply to all services booked with Nation Packers And Movers, LDA Market, P-22, 3, Vastu Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226010, including home relocation, office moving, packing, vehicle transport, local and long distance moving and warehousing. By booking a service or using nationpackers.com you agree to these terms. Your written quotation and booking confirmation form part of this agreement.
Quotations
- Quotes are based on the goods, addresses and access details shared during the survey.
- If the quantity of goods, addresses, floor, lift access or dates change, the price may be revised. We will inform you before work starts.
- Quotes are valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise. GST is charged as applicable.
Booking and payment
- A booking advance may be required to confirm your date. The balance is payable as stated in your quote, usually before unloading for local moves and before dispatch or on delivery for long distance moves.
- Payments are accepted by cash, UPI and bank transfer. Please pay only to our official accounts and ask for a receipt.
Cancellation and rescheduling
- Free rescheduling is allowed up to 48 hours before the moving date, subject to availability.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the moving date may attract a charge for vehicle and crew already committed. Any advance is refunded after deducting this charge.
Items we do not carry
For safety and legal reasons we do not transport cash, jewellery, important documents, firearms, explosives, gas cylinders with gas, flammable liquids, illegal goods, perishable food or live animals. Please keep valuables and documents with you.
Customer responsibilities
- Arrange permission for lift use, parking and entry at both addresses.
- Be present or send an authorised person during packing and delivery.
- Declare fragile, high-value or special items before packing.
- Check the inventory list and sign it at loading and delivery.
- Provide RC, insurance and ID copies for vehicle transport.
Transit insurance and liability
We take care to pack and move your goods safely. Transit insurance is optional and available on request at an extra premium based on declared value. If you choose not to take insurance, our liability for loss or damage caused by our negligence is limited as stated in your quote. We are not liable for damage caused by natural wear, internal mechanical or electrical faults, items packed by the customer, or events beyond our control such as natural disasters, riots, strikes, road closures or government action.
Claims
Please note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and inform us in writing within 48 hours of delivery with photos. Insurance claims follow the insurer's process, and we will help you with documents.
Packing by the customer
If you pack some cartons yourself, we are not responsible for damage to their contents unless the damage is caused by mishandling of the carton itself. Our team can inspect and re-pack such cartons on request for an extra charge.
Delivery timelines
Delivery dates are estimates. Delays can happen because of traffic, weather, vehicle breakdown, festivals, road restrictions or events outside our control. We will keep you informed.
Storage
Storage charges are billed monthly in advance. If storage charges remain unpaid for more than 60 days after written reminders, we may take lawful steps to recover dues.
Website use
Content on this website, including text, photos and logos, belongs to Nation Packers And Movers. Prices on the website are indicative and do not form an offer until confirmed in a written quote.
Waiting time and extra services
Your quote assumes reasonable access and timing at both addresses. If the crew or vehicle has to wait for a long time because keys, lift permission or the new home are not ready, or if you ask for services not included in the quote (such as extra packing, AC installation or additional stops), these will be charged at the rates shared with you in advance. We always inform you before adding any charge.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
